The Elmer Avenue Retrofit Project is comprised of Elmer Ave and Elmer Paseo.  Elmer Avenue is LA’s first “complete street” and Elmer Paseo is a new walkable alleyway.  Both demonstrate the latest design techniques for managing stormwater. They solve severe flooding problems with infiltration galleries, swales, native plantings and rain barrels.

Join us for a presentation of the Council for Watershed Health’s role in bringing together and managing the various stakeholders and collaborators for both projects.  Our speaker will describe how these two projects work together to form the Elmer Ave Neighborhood Retrofit Project.  Following the discussion will be an in-depth tour of this breakthrough project.

Refreshments and continental breakfast will be served.

Hope to see you there!!!
