Design Thinking Workshop at UCLA Extension

February 16, 2016 in Events

Give your organization an edge in the forward-thinking social-impact movement.

Enroll your team-members in UCLA Extension’s exclusive weekend workshop, “Design Thinking.”
This stimulating three-day experience is led by Marc Mertens, CEO of the revolutionary design firm A Hundred Years, which has been called an operation of “creative genius” (Forbes). It will also be led by the equally talented Barbara Groth, CEO and Creative Director of Big Buddha Baba. Both of these design firms work with projects that are catalysts of social change. In this intensive deep-dive into the tools and methodologies of design thinking, you’ll learn ways to strengthen employees’ insights, brainstorming skills, and design abilities.
Applicable to professionals in various industries, students are given hands-on design challenges, and encouraged to embark on the rich process of research and discovery that can translate into real-world benefits for your organization. Previous projects have involved app building, library reimagining, and redesigning how people experience art.
